I’ve decided not to upgrade.
I won’t shell out +$200 and exchange promise rings with Rogers to wrap my fingers around the Pixel 4 or whatever Google names this year’s phone.
The features on new phones are impressive (Night Shot, it’s Faster, it comes with a stand) but not life-changing. Having the latest phone doesn’t define who I am. At least not in a manner that matters to me.
I can wait. When I
want need a new phone, I’ll get one.
Unless my Pixel 2 cracks in half or stops working altogether.
Then I will upgrade.
